Our Incredible Library Book (and the wonderful journeys it took)
Our Incredible Library Book (and the Wonderful Journeys It Took) has a somewhat interesting premise, but unfortunately, the execution is somewhat lacking. The rhymes are the main point of it and they are mediocre. The storyline follows a library book and the people who borrow it, detailing how where and how they read it and the circumstances of their days.
As a library lover, you really want to like the book, but it just isn’t that interesting. The pictures show exactly what’s going on, but they’re nothing amazing. It feels every bit as modern as you’d expect from a new release, although it is very different from the timeless classic feel of most books published by Floris. It’s perfect for public libraries, but it isn’t the sort of book you’d really need at home to read over and over.
