Autographs and Inscriptions in Books
Chef LaLa personally autographs all books ordered from her website ChefLaLa.com . She will also place a short inscription (3 sentences or less) if you so desire. Please enter it in box provided prior to adding book to cart. ChefLaLa.com reserves the right to edit the inscription where deemed appropriate. If you wish the inscription to be in Spanish, then please enter it in Spanish. For multiple books with different inscriptions it is best to purchase them separately. Inscriptions requests may delay the shipment of the cookbook up to 2 weeks. View Chef LaLas schedule in the Upcoming Events page to see where and when she is scheduled to appear out of town. Inscribed cookbooks may not be returned for credit.
Shipping
All items are shipped via US Postal Service. Books are shipped via USPS Media Mail. Your order is typically processed within 1-3 business days, provided items are in stock and there are no problems with payment verification. We reserve the right to cancel any order where payment has been declined. If an item is currently out of stock you will be notified. Depending upon your location within the continental United States, USPS estimates delivery in 2-9 days after shipping. Orders will not be processed on weekends or holidays.
*Orders substantially greater that $140 may incur additional charges. You will be notified prior to shipment if this occurs. Additional charges may apply for expedited orders.
Sales Tax
Sales tax will be applied to all orders shipped to an address within California.

ChefLaLa.com respects your privacy. All of the information obtained through our online store will be used for processing purposes only.
Returns
All returns require an RMA number. RMAs must be obtained within 21 days of ship date. You may obtain an RMA by contacting ChefLaLa.com either by mail or email.

Your name, order number, contact phone number and reason for return should be provided. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package and a copy of your invoice should be placed inside. All returns must be received within 21 days of RMA issue date. Freight on all returns must be prepaid. Returns sent without prior authorization or freight collect will be rejected. Customer is solely responsible for return shipping charges.
Merchandise returned due to non-deliverability or incorrect addresses will incur a $15 handling fee.
Damage Claim
If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit call us at (818) 991-1572 within 24 hours so that we may file a damage claim with the shipping company. If you are present when a damaged package arrives, refuse acceptance and call us. We will need your name, order number and contact phone number.
Website Corrections
If errors are found on the website please Email the Webmaster. We strive to be as accurate as possible, however mistakes may occur. In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price or description due to typographical, informational, technical or other error, ChefLaLa.com at its sole discretion shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order and will immediately amend, correct or remove the inaccurate information.
